Afghanistan is one of the largest countries of the world with around 99% of Afghans being accounted as Muslims. Most of the Afghans are Sunni Muslims with accounting 80% of the country’s population. And 19% of the population is Shia. The remaining 1% includes Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and Buddhists who live in different cities of Afghanistan. Hindus and Sikhs mostly reside in Jalalabad, Kabul and Kandahar.
